Mo Salah believes Arsenal are 'favourites' for Premier League title

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will be hoping his side can retain the Premier League title this season, however, he believes Arsenal may be the team best placed to win the title.

Mikel Arteta's side have come close for the last three seasons, ultimately finishing second each time to either Manchester City or Liverpool. This year marks 21 years since Arsenal last won the Premier League, with the North London side desperate to put an end to their wait.

Liverpool are most people's current favourites to win the title, especially after bolstering their squad with the signings of Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz. Alexander Isak is also desperate to make the move to Anfield, however, Newcastle are determined to keep him at the club.

Arsenal's Chances

The Egyptian forward was Crowned PFA Player of the Year by his peers on Tuesday night. When asked about Arsenal's title chances, Salah said: "I think you have a great team this season as you did last season. So, you have really good chance.

"I think you are the favourite now because you players who have been together for five years. I can’t say I’ll wish you luck – hopefully we do it again."

Arsenal fans will be hoping Mo Salah's thoughts come true, and the club can finally put an end to their wait for Premier League glory.
